We were never meant to mother in isolation.
Throughout our evolution, we have always mothered collectively.
We exchanged wisdom, validated experiences, cultivated safety, and shared the emotional load. Sadly, recent generations have been stripped of this critical emotional support.
My online community unites mothers from all walks of life.
This is a safe space to feel connected, seen, and supported- the way mothering was always meant to be. This is not a “passive income” business for me. I am heavily involved in each support offering in this community. I am also mothering alongside you.
Hi! I’m Kaci Smith, LMFT
I’m a California based mother, wife, licensed psychotherapist and coach.
I have extensive professional experience in Women’s Psychology, Postpartum Therapy, Infant & Child Mental Health, and Evolutionary Psychology, among other specializations and clinical interests.
I created this community after observing, and experiencing myself, an undeniable need modern moms are not able to access easily.

My Collective Mothering Community is all about the experience of navigating matrescence in a safe, supportive, and validating community. No long term contracts (only monthly ones)! Increase or decrease supports month to month to fit your needs!
Meditations for Moms
If you’d like to start small, you can enjoy access to my Guided Mindfulness Meditations for Moms. I have written and recorded these all myself. This offering comes with every plan option!
Weekly Community Gatherings
Drop in anytime to my Weekly Collective Gatherings where you, and all the other moms in our community, can join in (or just listen in) to my weekly mom-themed discussions, and maybe even type a question or comment in the chat!
Think of these as podcast-like experiences- although these will never be recorded so every mom feels safe sharing!
Member Connection Sessions
If you’re interested in more of an intimate group experience and an opportunity to establish deeper connections with other supportive moms in a safe space, you can opt to add the Weekly Member Connections Sessions to your experience. I will facilitate each of these sessions, and although they are not considered group therapy, they can be just as supportive and healing.
Private Coaching
And if a more tailored experience is what you’re needing, I also offer additional support through individualized private coaching sessions where we can explore anything and everything on your motherhood journey.
This is not on you.
The isolated nuclear family is unnatural.
This recent shift in mothering strips us of our access to collective female support, which was historically our primary safety net. When we feel overwhelmed, lonely, ambivalent, or even enraged, this is a predictable reaction to the absence of a critical support system we have historically leaned on extensively for infant survival.
If you feel like mothering is hard, this is not a reflection of your lack of maternal wisdom or love for your child or your partner, or a reflection of an inability to persevere through hard things.
It’s definitely not because you’re doing anything wrong.
Your struggle is a shared struggle, and it is a heartbreakingly valid response to being forced to mother in profound isolation. This is unprecedented, and is not your fault.
